1. Who We Are

Time2Translate operates time2translate.com, a software and technology-focused translation agency based at 1620 Ashley Rd, Hoffman Estates, IL 60169, USA. Contact: hello@time2translate.com, (847) 882-1300.

2. Information We Collect

2.1 Information You Provide

When you place an order or submit a contact inquiry, we collect: first name, last name, email address, phone number, country, project notes, and source files uploaded for translation. We collect only what is necessary to fulfill your order.

2.2 Payment Information

We do not store card data. Payment is processed through Stripe at checkout.stripe.com. We receive payment confirmation and a Stripe session identifier only. Stripe's privacy policy governs the handling of your payment details.

2.3 Browser Storage

We store cookie consent preference in localStorage under the key t2_cookie_ok. This does not transmit personal data to our servers.

2.4 Server Logs

Standard server logs capture IP addresses, browser user-agents, pages visited, and request timestamps for security. These are not used for marketing.

3. How We Use Your Information

To process and fulfill translation orders
To communicate about project scope, delivery, and revisions
To respond to contact inquiries
To detect and prevent fraudulent orders

We do not use your information for advertising or add you to marketing lists without explicit opt-in.

4. Source File Confidentiality

Files you submit for translation are treated as confidential and shared only with the assigned translator and QA reviewer. Both are under confidentiality agreements. Files are not used for any purpose other than completing your translation project. NDAs are available on request before files are shared.

5. Data Retention

Order records are retained for a minimum of 5 years for business record-keeping. Source and translated files are retained for 90 days after delivery to support the revision period. Earlier deletion can be requested at hello@time2translate.com.

6. Third Parties

6.1 Stripe

Payment processing via Stripe, Inc. Stripe's privacy policy applies at stripe.com/privacy.

6.2 No Analytics or Advertising Trackers

We do not use Google Analytics, Meta Pixel, or any behavioral tracking platform.

7. Your Rights

You may request access to, correction of, or deletion of personal data we hold about you. Contact hello@time2translate.com. We respond within 30 days.

8. Children

Our services are not directed to persons under 18. We do not knowingly collect data from minors.

9. Changes

We may update this policy. The date at the top reflects the current version.
