Time2Translate started translating software documentation because the founding team had worked inside software companies and experienced firsthand how much of a localization project breaks when the translator does not understand what they are reading. A string like "Retry after {delay_ms}ms" cannot be translated correctly by someone who does not know what a millisecond delay or a code placeholder is.
We built the agency around that specific problem. Every translator we add to a project roster has demonstrated background in the content type they are assigned to. Software translators have software experience. API documentation goes to technical writers who know what an API is. Marketing content for a SaaS company goes to someone who has done SaaS marketing, not general consumer copywriting.
